Seo Mindset Review - Brad Callen

Seo Mindset Review - Brad Callen

Who is Brad Callen ?

Brad Callen is a very experienced Internet Marketer and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) specialist. Today he is most known for developing Bryxen software a company that has released some very significant internet marketing tools such as Keyword Elite and SEO Elite.

Before the success of his software Brad Callen actually started out marketing products in the health and diet industry. Brad Callen was able to take one small e-book, Ultimate Weight loss Revealed, and turn it into one of the best selling online weight loss products.

Brad Callen was able to do this simply by using the techniques featured in his products. He was able to drive massive amounts of traffic to the websites selling his e-book. He is definitely someone that practices what they preach.

What I like most about Brad Callen is that even though he has become a success it has not affected his accessibility. He is known for answering emails in a more than timely manner and the customer service offered with his software is exceptional.

You can even find Brad Callen posting under his own name on several popular internet marketing forums. You can engage him in a public conversation regarding any one of his products, that's something that not a lot of people can say they do.

SEO Elite Version 4.0 Free Download

What's been added to the new SEO Elite, version 4.0? A heck of a lot… In this post, I'm going to run through what we've added over the past several months.

For those that don't already know, SEO Elite is a project driven program. There are several different project types for you to select from when you open SEO Elite. Essentially, each project type is it's own software program, but they now work and blend together nicely, as you can move from project to project much better than in previous versions.

Before I run through the project types, I highly suggest that you take a look at the hundreds of new software reviews that have been added to our website.

Project 1: Analyze Backlinks Using A Specified Search Engine.

  1. Added website age: You can now view the age of the website you input, as well as viewing the age of ALL websites that link to the site you entered.

  2. Domain extension summary: You can get a quick breakdown of the total number of links containing different extensions such as .edu, .gov, .com, .net, etc.

Clicking on the extension will highlight all of the URLs in the top frame containing that extension.

  3. See whether website is in the Yahoo directory.

  4. See whether website is in DMOZ

  5. See whether website is in Wikipedia

Other additions to project 1…

  1. Speed has been improved ten fold. We've completely re-programmed SEO Elite from the ground up, and in doing so, we were able to increase it's speed significantly.

  2. New Analysis view design to incorporate additional information

Project 2: Get Links To Your Website.

Project 2 has been completely redone. It now combines the old project 2, along with the old project 8, and allows you to create and modify your resource pages much easier.

  1. Greatly improved SEO Elite's ability to gather contact information for each website

  2. Can now send websites from other project types directly to project 2, in order to gather contact information.

  3. Automatically populates link directory forms, rather than being forced to click the autocomplete button

  4. Email functionality now allows SSL connection

  5. Can manually add resources to resources page(s)

  6. Can manually remove and/or adit resources from resources page(s)

  7. Ability to find potential link partners from other website's links pages.

Project 3: Analyze AllinAnchor, AllinText, AllinTitle.

  1. Can now click on a row in either frame, and it will highlight the corresponding row in the oposite frame, allowing you to visually see where the specific website ranks.

Project 4: Verify That Link Partners Are Still Linking Back.

  1. Added a new column to tell you when the page your link is located on was last indexed. This will give you a good indication of whether or not your link is on a web page that gets crawled regularly.

Project 5: Find Where Your Website Is Ranked For A Given Keyword.

This project has also been completely redone.

  1. Much easier to add/remove/delete keywords to monitor.

  2. Speed has been greatly enhanced

  3. Much "prettier" visual representation of rankings in the lower frame, via a line graph.

  4. New column added to allow you to view the highest your website has been ranked for a given keyword.

  5. Can now zoom in or zoom out to different time periods (i.e. 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, etc.)

Project 6: Find How Many Web Pages Are Indexed.

  1. Report view has been modified to better view the gathered data. You can now click on a website in the upper frame, and the lower frame will display the web page details.

  2. Ability to input as many domains as you want, rather than being limited to only 1 domain.

Project 7: Find Possible Authority Websites.

  1. Added a brand new project allowing you to find potential authority websites in your niche.

  2. Can find authority sites using any of the major search engines, including Google, Yahoo, MSN, Alltheweb, and Altavista.

  3. Can select the number of minimum matches that must be found in order to "count" as an authority website.

  4. Ability to click on specific matches and be taken to the actual web page containing the link to each of the top ranked website.

  5. Ability to sort any of the columns, to find which links are the best of the best.

Project 8: Submit Articles To Article Directories.

In development. We are currently adding the ability to submit your articles to various article directories across the web. This should be finished very soon.

Those are most of the new additions. On top of that, we've also completely redone the User Manual, which can be read by clicking on the Help Button located on the top, right-hand side of SEO Elite.

… and we've created several video tutorials, which can be seen by visiting here:

The updates to SEO Elite should be fast and furious now that we're all caught up. Enjoy the new version, and there will be much more to come!

Chris McNeeney Blog: Google Adwords Quality Score Checklist

Do you want your Google Adwords campaigns to cost you less, then you need to have a good quality score. Your position on google adwords ads is dependent on the amount of your bid and your quality score. So if you want to increase your rank on paid ads without increasing your bid, then you need to increase your quality score.

Here are some of the tips which you should use to get better quality score for your landing page:

  1. Make your landing page on a website which has a old and reputable domain.

  2. Your domain should have sufficient number of pages listed in Google. I think 50 is a sufficient number to start with. But more the better.

  3. Have some backlinks from other websites/blogs to your landing page as well before going for full fledge with Adwords.

  4. Optimize your landing page for the keywords you are bidding at (on-site optimization). This is very important.

  5. Remember to have links from your landing page to your privacy policy, support and contact us page.

  6. If possible provide phone number and address on support and contact us pages.

  7. Your site should have some (I think 10 is a good figure) other pages (article pages?) related to your landing page.

  8. Google is also having an overall quality score to your account. So your older account is going to work better than fresh new.

  9. Use same "display URL" and "destination URL" if possible. Google thinks your url valuable enough that you actually want to show it.

Teen Guide to MySpace and Online Safety

Having fun while keeping safe

MySpace is a lot of fun. You can catch up with friends, meet new people and share your favorite things with the world. You might even like it because your parents have no clue what you're doing. So, cool, have fun, but remember that there are some dangerous things about MySpace and some scary people hang out there, too. The good news is that you can protect yourself. You've probably heard them before, but here are some simple tips for having fun and staying safe online.

Restrict viewing of your profile only to people you know in real life.

Setting your profile to "private" allows only trusted friends to view your information. You still have to be careful what you post, but it's less likely that someone creepy will view your personal profile.

Only visit profiles of people you know.

Stick with the profiles of people you know and trust. It makes it less likely you'll run into someone who'll try to hurt you, but it also helps protect you from downloading viruses and malware to your computer.

Never post suggestive pictures or information on your profile.

If you wouldn't show it to your parents or grandparents, it's not ok to put it online. You may think it's just for fun, but other people might get the wrong idea. Also, people can download those pictures, so they might haunt you for a long time to come.

Never post false information about other people.

No matter how funny it may seem, don't do it. Things you say about other people can hurt them now and in the future. Besides which, it's just as easy for someone to do it to you!

Never post anything on your profile that you wouldn't say in public.

Your profile isn't private. Colleges are looking to see what you're doing online and so are businesses. As strange as it may sound, you could end up getting rejected from your top school because of things you post. If that doesn't convince you, things posted on profiles have been known to break up relationships.

Not everything you read is true.

Have you ever pretended to be someone else online? Have you ever said something that wasn't true? It happens all of the time. Don't believe everything you read. People pretend to be older or younger and sometimes guys pretend to be girls and girls pretend to be guys. You just can't believe everything you read, even if you want to.

Never share personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, etc. online.

It's dangerous, plain and simple.

Talk to your parents before meeting anyone in person.

If you'd like to meet someone in person, talk to your parents about it. Yeah, I know… so not cool. But it's incredibly dangerous otherwise. Ask your parents about meeting the person in a public place, like the mall food court, where your parents can be nearby to make sure you're safe. That way, you protect yourself, but can still have some fun.

If you're not sure, talk to an adult.

If you see something online that makes you scared, sad, or worried, tell someone. Find an adult that you trust and talk to them. It might be your parents, an aunt or uncle, a coach or a teacher. Whoever you think can help you out and make you feel safe. You should also do this if one of your friends has seen something or looks like they might be in trouble.

Chris McNeeney Blog: Don't Go To Squidoo.com Until You Read This !

Welcome to the new skool, here what i did to rank well in google using squidoo;

1) Research for long tail keyword phrase and build a Squidoo lens around this phrase.

Sell something in the introduction or entice them to your opt-in list (use iframe for opt-in form placement in lenses).

Best way to do this is to use a keyword software tools that will give extra data like identifying keywords in different tags, keyword density and pagerank of the top listing in Google. I personally use Keywords Analyzer.

If you don't have any such software you can do the spying way.

Go to ezinearticles.com and lookout for articles over 1 month old. Then guess the main keyword phrase for that article from its title, do a Google search on the phrase to make sure it is on the front page.

If it is, look at the bottom of the article to calculate and gauge how many visitors it gets per month. If the number looks good, do a Squidoo lens based on that phrase. Most of the time, a Squidoo lens with a lot of unique content can outrank an ezinearticles listing, or at least be 1 to 3 listing away from it.

2) Put the keyword phrase in your title, url and introduction.

Also, have the phrase at least once in your intro main body where it is bolded, italic it and underlined all at one go.

For the title, have your keyword phrase as close to the start of the title as possible. I have a lens where the phrase was towards the end of the title and didn't even appear in the first 20 pages of Google ( I gave up looking for it after that) but once I placed the phrase at the start of the title, it jump to number 1!.... that was my first lens that have number 1 placing without quotes :D

3) Slow is Fast, Less is More... Imitate nature by taking your time, because Google love processes that looks natural.

Start your lens without adding any outgoing link. Wait for it get indexed before slowly placing in your affiliate or outgoing links over a period of 1 week.

If you put too many at start, somehow the search engine will take longer than 3 days or even worse not index the page at all. If you have to, only have 1 outgoing link and thats it. It can be painful, but not seeing your hard work in Google can feel much worse.

For RSS, you can have it as long as it is from the same source. So, in the beginning, you are only looking at pure content in the Introduction and write module.

Don't worry about the amount of content, just have something in your intro and 2 short separate articles in write module. I use the "Top 20 Tips" trick... At first I might put "Top 3 Tips To Making Money Online"... as I go along, I can add more to become Top 4, Top 5, etc, etc. Search Engine love freshness, so give it.

4) Have your keyword phrase in all the different tags and in write module.

Sprinkle your phrases all over the lens. The rule of thumb I use is to have it at the start and end of a single article or roughly every 700 words if you have a long lens. At every chance use the keyword phrase in the TITLE of each module but alternate the phrase with RELATED PHRASE after 2 or 3 modules.

Also place your keyword phrase in image alt tag and text link description, both of which are invisible to the readers at most time. Don't forget to pepper the whole lens with related words too.

5) RSS module - anything related to your article or lens.

I now place this at the end of the lens to prevent distraction to the lens reader. The RSS setting is set to show 30 item, show everything in description and include html.

Use Yahoo Pipe to mashed up your RSS.

RSS is great, but it works like any other content for search engine.

If your RSS is the same one appearing in other website, this can lower its effectiveness.

Yahoo Pipe will take RSS feed from different sources and mashed it up to give you a unique set.

What I do is drag out 5 "Fetch Feed" module (under "Sources"). In each "fetch feed" place the url of relevant feed, with slightly different keywords.

If this is for before your page get indexed, make sure the feeds are from the same source... for example, five different feed from Digg and Digg ONLY with keywords "internet money", "cash online", "ebusiness", "affiliate marketing" and "ecommerce".

Then drag out the "Union" module (under "Operators"), and connect all the feed to it.

Next drag out the "Content Analysis" module (under "Operators") and connect "Union" to it.

Then finish the loop and connect it to "Pipe Output".

Run the Pipe, save it and get the url for your Squidoo.

It is as confusing as it sounds... so grab a coffee, relax and play around with it for 30mins or so.

6) Outgoing link will boost the importance of your page in the Search Engine eyes.

But do this carefully and slowly. Not too fast which can be seen as spammy.

Choose to add 1 quality and relevant outgoing link every other day after your get indexed. You can use the link Plexo or link module.

Take note that RSS can also be counted as outgoing link, that is why you started out with 1 source first, then slowly you can use Yahoo Pipes to mashed up feed from different websites.

7) Social Bookmark it to high PR site using onlywire.com, digg, aboogy, reddit or whatever you can think of.

Use only Del.icio.us and Digg to bookmark your lens initially because the links are already on your lens and you can form a "loop" for the search engine spider.

Go to pingoat.com to ping your lens. It is pretty self-explanatory once you are at pingoat.com .

8 ) Few last thing to consider, add YouTube videos and limit only one lens per account.

Add YouTube videos (through YouTube module or Plexo) after you get indexed because the <embed> code will show that your site have videos and this adds value and importance. (and YouTube is own by Google, so they love anything from their family  )

And lastly, you might want to limit only one lens per account. I'm not too sure about this, but from my experience so far if I have 2 lens, one will get indexed and the other will not. Maybe if you want more than 1 lens, make the second one after about 2 weeks.

3 days later..........BOOM!

First page for your long tail keyword phrase.

You cannot compete in results containing strong websites... so your strategy is to bank on many long tail keyword phrases.

Try to aim for about 30mins to complete the stuff that need to be done before your lens get indexed.

It is all about keyword phrase, keyword phrase and keyword phrase. Squidoo offers the flexibility for you to play around with your keyword phrase placement.

Keyword phrase!

AV

P.S. The proof is in my post below... Please note that the proof is just a TEST lens and it uses duplicate articles from ezinearticles.com. Most time using duplicate articles can cause your lens not to appear at all or put into supplemental result.

Affventure wrote:I just checked my link tracking stats today and found something interesting that might help your further.

The link that I placed just below the guestbook have double clickthrough rate that all the rest of the links above it.

I usually place my guestbook almost at the end of the lens. The arrangement looks something like this.

*Start*
{various other modules}
{guestbook modules}
{write module with affiliate link or banner, call to action phrase to get them to click}
{RSS}
*End*

I think the "checkout mentality" still works here.

I made my guestbook auto accept so maybe people just wanna check out how their comment will look like and while waiting to appear, they probably thought might as well take a look into the link below the guestbook.

Or another reason might be, I placed the banner using iframe and below the banner I have a lot of white space.... so the RSS is kinda hidden from the visitor, unless they scroll down further.

Most people might think this is the end of the lens and are looking for an "exit" and use the last link they saw as an "exit".

The RSS did its job for the Search Engine while staying hidden from most visitor so that it won't distract anybody.

That last link did double clickthrough than all of the other links (pointing to the same affiliate site) combined.... so the white space thingy and placing it at end of lens probably the reason why.

Happy Experimenting, Chris!

Chris McNeeney Blog: Google Assassin Review - Slash Your AdWords Cost By Up To 70%

Slash Your AdWords Cost By Up To 70%

Let's be honest...AdWords tends to frighten beginning online marketers. They quake in their boots for three reasons:

  1. They don't have a clue about how to pick a winning product to promote

  2. They really have no idea how to choose keywords wisely to maximize their profits

  3. They're afraid of losing their shirts with "runaway" AdWords campaigns that drain their bank accounts

Google Assassin Review - Chris McNeeney

Google Assassin Review - Chris McNeeney

Welcome to Affiliates Den
Welcome to the Affiliates Den. You will notice that there are a lot of tools and features all over this site and these are navigated by using the three main tabs at the top of the Left Menu. The first thing you should do is take some time to familiarize yourself with the workings of the site: this section is written to help you understand all the site features and how you can use them to achieve successful Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns.

Chris McNeeney Blog: ChrisMcNeeney.blogspot.com

Chris McNeeney Blog: Go Deep, not Wide

Think about

who your niche is...

where they hang out on the web...

then go visit those sites and see if you can get a banner or text link or article on their site.

Next to PPC, this is my favorite and most successful traffic generator (and in some cases this dwarfs what I can bring in with PPC)

If you keep looking, testing and tweeking different traffic sources you will be amazed at how much traffic you can drive. Seriously, you may find one source that beats all your other sources combined.

I find a product that's fairly new but rising in gravity (so far I've only been selling clickbank). See what the problems for the product are. Go solve the problem with additional content to fill in the gaps. Use that as the opt-in incentive. It perfectly compliment the product they're going to purchase. Basically people who buy many products are buying them because the don't know how to think for themselves. So if in reality they're looking for someone to "make it easy" for them. I simply offer to hold their hand a little longer by adding additional informational value. They feel more sure about the purchase because I'm there holding their hand.

If you hit a hot niche...then do NOT go on writing more articles in other niches.

The "crap load" or 100 article deal...is that it might take you that long to find one or two hot niches.

If you find that niche in 10...then STOP SEARCH & start writing more articles on that topic...to THAT NICHE.

And do exactly what you are doing ....rollout...start your list...PPC...etc.

Now...you don't even HAVE to do all those articles...if you have the cash...and start ultra targetted PPC is an AWESOME way of finding your hungry niche.

It is all a mind shift...

Instead of hoping to "break the bank" with every article you write...or every campaign you put up...

You simply focus on finding your "hungry crowd"...

I can't tell you how many people I see RIGHT HERE that have walked right over $100,000 a year...because their one lens is making $300 a month...and they decide to go make another one...on a completely different topic!!!!

We are NOT in the lens business...or the article business...or the ppc business...or the blog business...

We ARE in the business of finding a group of people that ARE STARVING for something...or things (better)...Finding out what those things ARE...and then giving it to them with a little added VALUE.

As K&C may say...we are in the MATCH MAKING BUSINESS....

We match PEOPLE to PRODUCTS.

Once you make a match verified with a few sales...DON'T RUN OFF TRYING TO MAKE MORE MATCHES RIGHT OFF.

One lens can only do so much. feel me?

It's like metal detecting at the beach...you wave your wand around for an hour with not even a peep...then you get a little beep...beep...beep...and then you move your detector around and see if you can get a louder and stronger beep...and you keep moving it around until it beeps so loud you know you have something...if you just dig it up.

But...what would happen? If you got the faint beep...beep...and immediately started partying?...YES...YES...we did it...we got the beep...beep...let's see if we can get another beep.

That's retarded right?

If we get the beep...we should follow it and see if there is a treasure chest of gold or a gold watch or maybe just an old tin can...

So...

Hee...hee...my point is...

I am not saying to go to 100 beaches and look for treasure. I am saying be PREPARED TO DO IT.

But...as soon as you hear that metal detector going off...STOP and follow it up...

It may be on your first beach...5th or 49th...but there is a TON of gold in this "match making" business...so keep going...stop and go deeper when you hear the beep...and realize you don't get paid for sifting the sand...you get paid when you find the gold.
